Tomorrow begins another fantastic season here at The Santa Experience! To reduce confusion and help guide those looking to secure a spot, we’ve created this demo booking & guide to provide step-by-step assistance.



Step one: Go to The Santa Experience homepage and select the booking button below the header. The booking button will not be available until 9:00 am, November 2nd, 2022.

Step two: Once you select the button, you will be brought to our third-party booking website, Fare Harbor. You may be placed in a waiting queue to protect the website from crashing due to the surge in users on booking day. Be patient, and your time will come to book your Santa slot!

Make sure you don’t refresh or close out of your browser, as you will be placed at the back of the line.

Step three: Once it’s your turn to book, all visit options are displayed on the screen. After two years of pandemic visits, we are back to normal! However, if you have COVID concerns, don’t hesitate to contact us so that we can try our best to accommodate your needs.

Santa visit options for 2022 include:

  • In-person visits
  • Virtual visits
  • Pet night visits
  • Special needs in-person visits

Not all Santas are performing each type of visit. For example, Santa Sam is the only Santa offering virtual visits, so if you select the option, there will only be one Santa to book with. Once you choose your desired visit, you can move on to the next step.

Step four: The next step in the booking process includes choosing your group size. Group sizes range from 1-5 up to 11-15. Group size indicates the number of people sitting on Santa’s lap and interacting with him directly and does not have to include bystanders, such as grandparents, teens who pretend they’re too cool for Santa, or your wacky neighbors that decided to tag along!

Step five: Once you select the group size, it’s time to pick your Santa! You will see all Santas listed who are available to accommodate your selected group size.

Step six: Once you select your Santa, a calendar will pop up indicating available days and times for visits. Green days indicate there is availability for Santa on a specific day. If the day is greyed, it means it is either fully booked OR that Santa is not performing visits on that day.

Step seven: Once you choose a green day with availability, the next window details specific times available for visits. Simply choose the time desired!

Step eight: On the next window, use the drop-down to confirm you would like to book the one selected visit. Once that is selected, complete a series of prompts below. These include:

  • How many ‘kids’ will be visiting with Santa
  • Listing names and ages of individuals visiting with Santa (list from youngest to oldest)
  • Add any additional notes you’d like Santa to know (Santa will read these before the visit to help personalize the experience!)
  • Acknowledge you will be at the correct Mall of America location for your Santa visit at the selected time (confirmation emails include maps, where to park, location, etc.)
  • Payment/confirmation information (we accept Google Pay and credit cards)

Step nine: Once you hit complete and pay, your Santa visit is confirmed! You should receive a confirmation email shortly after purchase, but don’t hesitate to contact Lando directly if you do not receive it. His direct information is listed below.
